Concert of the Gewandhaus Orchestra | Red Bull Arena Leipzig | Planung 2020
The Free State of Saxony intended to organize a concert of the Gewandhaus Orchestra in the Red Bull Arena on September 08, 2020 as a thank you to the citizens of Leipzig.
Mosaic Vision GmbH was commissioned by the Gewandhaus with the overall planning. Unfortunately, the concert - under the influence of the then also again rising Corona numbers - was canceled in mid-August.

In a six-month intensive process, Mosaic Vision GmbH created the security concept for the first use of the expanded exhibition grounds as a concert area.
At the same time, the organizers, LiveGeist GmbH & MAWI Concert, provided advice during the approval and production process.
During the performance, Uli Dietze took over the position of event director.

We took care of the approval process and site coordination on behalf of the organiser, Concertbüro Zahlmann GmbH from Berlin.
The main challenge here was to make it possible to stage a concert for 18,000 visitors at a building site in the converted Steigerwald stadium – the new Arena Erfurt.

In a co-production with our Berlin partner Fabian Wehr, we were the production managers when organising the open-air event on behalf of CoCo GmbH.
Besides the ‘usual’ aspects associated with a concert, in this case the venue – a flood channel – and the volume of visitors (more than 80,000) posed a particular challenge.
